Popular Culture Association: Call for Papers

Dear Friend of Jack London,

I offer you a warm invitation to submit a paper proposal of 250 words for consideration of inclusion in the next Jack London's Life and Works program at the Popular Culture Association [PCA] conference, which will be held at the Marriott Hotel, Philadelphia, PA, April 11-14, 2001.

If you are interested in attending the meeting in Philadelphia in 2001, please send me your 250 word paper proposal as soon as possible and certainly before September 15, which is the deadline. On receiving your proposal I will immediately respond and send you a pre-registration and membership form. The program book will be mailed to you early in December. Hotel reservation cards should be returned to the hotel immediately to ensure a room.

The PCA has made some changes in the program. Every session must have four participants. This means that you will be allotted 15 minutes for your presentation, so please limit the length of your paper to seven and one-half, double-spaced pages. You must present your own paper at this conference. Each meeting room will be equipped with one slide projector and screen and one VCR and monitor for your use.

Session Information for both the 1999 and 2000 Popular Culture Association Meeting Panel on Jack London's Life and Works is provided below.
