| University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Wisconsin Review |
| BACKGROUND Wisconsin Review is a student funded organization and a member of the Oshkosh Student Association. Its chief goal is to produce Wisconsin Review, the literary magazine of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Through this publication and other activities, Wisconsin Review introduces students and subscribers to fine contemporary poetry, fiction and art. Wisconsin Review was established in 1966 by Professor Richard Lyons and interested UW-Oshkosh students. For many years, Professor Douglas Flaherty served as the organization's advisor. With the exception of a faculty advisor, Wisconsin Review is entirely student-driven. Students manage, operate and direct the workings of a small press through experience as editors, copy editors, business staff, promotional staff and manuscript readers. Membership is open to any interested students at UW Oshkosh; simply contact the Senior Editor at the Wisconsin Review office in Polk 45, the faculty advisor (Paul Niesen, Radford Hall) or any other staff member. As of the Spring 2006 semester, meetings are being held once a week on Tuesdays, and all staff members are encouraged to attend. You may reach the Wisconsin Review by email at: wisconsinreview@uwosh.edu. Wisconsin Review sponsors performances by lecturers and writers of literary interest when possible. Wisconsin Review also encourages the students of UW Oshkosh in their own creative writing and publication endeavors. Students are encouraged to submit manuscripts for consideration. ANNOUNCEMENTS
