NCSA's 22nd annual conference, "Looking Backward, Looking Forward," took place March 7-9, 2002 in Savannah, Georgia. 

All conference sessions were held at the Mulberry Hotel on Thursday, March 7 through  Saturday, March 9. 

On Thursday, Prof. Robin Williams, Professor & Chair, Architectural History, Savannah College of Art and Design, spoke on "Savannah Squares and 19th-Century Architecture." 

On Friday, Jim Cothran, Landscape Architect, spoke on “The Southern Gardens of Nineteenth-Century Savannah, GA versus Charleston, SC.”
