LODGING AND TRANSPORTION

The headquarters hotel for NCSA's 2010 conference is the beautiful Hyatt Regency Tampa, within easy walking distance from the University of Tampa (across the Kennedy bridge over the Hillsborough River). Hyatt Regency was the first hotel in downtown Tampa to receive a Green Palm in recognition of their "green" initiatives. The hotel offers the Avanzare Restaurant (Italian cuisine), Avanzare Bar for cocktails and light fare, Avanzare Coffee Bar featuring Starbucks® coffee, a business center, 15 ADA-compliant rooms, a heated outdoor pool with sundeck, a gym near the pool area, and covered parking. Another benefit of staying at the conference hotel is that transportation for events not held on the University of Tampa campus (including an optional excursion on Saturday) will start at/return to the Hyatt.

Be sure to click on the Hyatt's NCSA group booking link below and reserve by February 10, 2010, to get the conference rate of $189/night for a single or double. This special rate includes complimentary in-room internet, complimentary parking, and complimentary "breakfast for one" (per guestroom) in the Hyatt's Avanzare Restaurant. IMPORTANT: There is an early departure fee of a one-day room rate, so please choose the dates of your stay carefully when making your reservation. Any changes made after reconfirmation at check-in are subject to the fee.
